The world premiere of one of the most anticipated films of the year, Last flight to Abuja was held at the Troxy cinema, London.
Notable attendees of the event were black actors and actresses from film and television in the UK as well as those from Nollywood such as Ellen Thomas (East Enders), Fatima Jabbe (The Mirror Boy, Shattered Hearts) Will Johnson (Casualty, Amina). The lead stars of the film Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde and Jim Iyke were also in attendance.
Pauline Long, founder of Black entertainment, fashion, film, television and arts award (BEFFTA Awards) said “Last Flight To Abuja…..a must watch movie! Fantastic premier! Congratulations to writer/producer/director Obi Emelonye and the entire cast, team, sponsors and partners. What a movie, what a fitting tribute to all the beautiful people lost in the crash last week”.
Last flight to Abuja is set to be released at the end of this month, watch out for details of selected cinemas and screenings very shortly.’
