With the main awards ceremony almost upon us again, Her Excellency President Joyce Banda of Malawi announced to the world at a glittering ceremony hosted in Lilongwe the nominations for the 2013 AMAA Awards.
AMAA received 328 entries up from 220 in 2011, made up of 134 feature films, 88 short films, 57 documentaries and six animations. Entries came from America, Canada, France, Germany, Guadalupe, Italy, Jamaica, and the UK.
