The Oscar nominations for the 2018 awards were announced on Tuesday morning in Beverly Hills, California, and of the 24 categories, Black films and talent got 10 nominations with ‘Get Out’ nominated for Best Picture.
However, my heart goes out to the Outstanding ‘Mudbound’ but being an outstanding film is not enough amongst a host of outstanding films and Netflix not supporting an Oscar campaign for the film really hurt its chances in the major categories.
